This a wonderful artifact meant for private devotion.
Truly in wonderful condition for its age.
Believed to date to between 1350and 1490 after consultation with an art appraiser.
Through its’ travels the backing wood has been preserved with wax to prevent deterioration possibly in the 1800″s.
Gold paint was used on the edges and has oxidized and shows green in some places.
